Zayne wants control…
Talli refuses to be tamed…
A spark neither man can deny…
Talli barely escaped his first arranged mating with his life. Now, he refuses to be forced to become a mate to some wolf he’s never met. For two years, he’s used every trick he knows fighting an endless stream of arranged matings and when he’s promised to Zayne Andino, Talli is certain an arrogant player like Zayne won’t last a day with an intended mate who doesn’t fall to his feet and worship him at first sight.
Except, Zayne turns out to be annoyingly patient. When Zayne ignores Talli’s tricks and tries to take care of him, Talli can almost believe he cares.
But when Talli’s first failed arranged mate follows him, it will take more then patience to keep him safe. Can Talli trust Zayne to protect him? Or, will letting his guard down be the mistake that binds him to an evil that will never let him go?
Q&A with the Author
Q. What was the hardest part about writing Thrust?
A. I knew that writing Thrust would be difficult for a few reasons. First, it was the last book in the series. Though every book is important, the last book of a series has to pull so much more weight than the previous books. There is a lot to wrap up in Thrust, while also introducing new characters we get to watch fall in love.
Q. Which chracter surprised you the most?
A. I’d have to say Talli was the one character who changed the most from my original outline notes. He started the book much more flippant—cockier—and it wasn’t until later that he revealed to me just how broken he was inside.
Q. That epilogue. Kiki, why are you so evil?
A. I’d say I am sorry, but I’m not. The moment that scene came to my mind I knew it would be the perfect way to lead into the Solar Wolves series. The solar wolves have been waiting for so long to go home, and I knew I couldn’t let that all go smoothly.
Q. Is there anything else you want your readers to know about Thrust?
A, Just that it is so many different things all at once. There is political intrigue, finding of families, a whole heck of a lot of steam, and a bunch of funny, exciting, and sweet bits in between!
